Campfire Biscuit Pudgy Pies

Biscuit Pudgy Pies

This past week we enjoyed a stay in the Northwoods at a rented cabin, giving us the opportunity to cook over a campfire. This post highlights a recipe that takes the Pudgy Pie beyond the grilled cheese sandwich, to create a freshly baked biscuit with melted cheese, and much of the prep work can be done at home.

We had this beautiful river in our backyard.

And this amazing firepit.

We prepped the biscuits at home, using the recipe attached to this post, and while we were on our trip, we could simply add water.

We made our biscuits into Biscuit Pudgy Pies, and we used the leftover dough to make traditional biscuits for breakfast the next day.
